The firm, founded in 2009, manages \u20ac1.7 billion in assets, mainly in Catalonia and Valencia. With 29 employees, it recorded \u20ac6.5 million in revenue last year, a 29% increase from the previous year.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Talenta Gesti\u00f3n<\/strong> has made a name for itself in the investment world in Catalonia<\/strong>. Founded in 2009 in Barcelona<\/strong> as a securities agency<\/strong> by Jordi Jofre and Carlos Cabanas<\/strong>, it became a Management Company for Collective Investment Institutions (SGIIC)<\/strong> in 2021<\/strong>, and also has offices in Valencia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Talenta was created to provide individuals and families with comprehensive and fully independent wealth management and advisory<\/strong>. It differentiates itself<\/strong> by offering alternative investments<\/strong> through its own vehicles in renewable energy, technology, real estate, and private equity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of 2024<\/strong>, Talenta managed and advised on \u20ac1.7 billion<\/strong> in assets (+76%<\/strong> year-on-year), with \u20ac6.5 million<\/strong> in revenue (+29%<\/strong> compared to 2023<\/strong>). In the first four months of 2025<\/strong>, assets under management grew at a 15% rate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With these results, Talenta<\/strong> holds a privileged position<\/strong> in its segment in Catalonia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Team<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The firm is currently made up of 29 people<\/strong>, with most being shareholders<\/strong>. Their investments are managed under the same philosophy and conditions<\/strong> as those of clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jordi Jofre<\/strong> leads the firm, with previous experience at Bank of America, CaixaBank, Banco de Europa, and Fibanc<\/strong>. Carlos Cabanas<\/strong> is the CEO, having worked at AB Asesores, Ahorro Corporaci\u00f3n, and Fibanc<\/strong>. In 2024<\/strong>, Mercedes Grau<\/strong> joined as a board member<\/strong>, after roles at Banco de Progreso, Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, Caixa Catalunya, and Banca March<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Jofre<\/strong>, “markets are becoming more volatile, so investors need greater diversification<\/strong> to earn attractive returns without much risk. Large firms try, but can\u2019t truly offer tailored, independent advice<\/strong>. That\u2019s why clients choose Talenta and why we\u2019re attracting top professionals<\/strong><\/em>.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, Talenta manages nine Collective Investment Institutions (CIIs)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One standout product is IXF SIL<\/strong>, a hedge fund<\/strong> launched in 2023<\/strong> after merging several SICAVs<\/strong>, with \u20ac50 million<\/strong> in assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its aim is to generate attractive returns with low risk<\/strong>, through diversification across five asset classes<\/strong>: equity funds, fixed income funds, bonds, quality dividend-paying stocks<\/strong>, and alternative investments<\/strong>. Since its launch, it has achieved 6.3% annual return<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this approach, they negotiate the best terms<\/strong> with products and custodian banks<\/strong>, using global volume as a negotiating strength<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
