Talenta was created to provide individuals and families with comprehensive and fully independent wealth management and advisory. It differentiates itself by offering alternative investments through its own vehicles in renewable energy, technology, real estate, and private equity.

Team
The firm is currently made up of 29 people, with most being shareholders. Their investments are managed under the same philosophy and conditions as those of clients.
Jordi Jofre leads the firm, with previous experience at Bank of America, CaixaBank, Banco de Europa, and Fibanc. Carlos Cabanas is the CEO, having worked at AB Asesores, Ahorro Corporación, and Fibanc. In 2024, Mercedes Grau joined as a board member, after roles at Banco de Progreso, Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, Caixa Catalunya, and Banca March.
According to Jofre, "markets are becoming more volatile, so investors need greater diversification to earn attractive returns without much risk. Large firms try, but can’t truly offer tailored, independent advice. That’s why clients choose Talenta and why we’re attracting top professionals."
Currently, Talenta manages nine Collective Investment Institutions (CIIs).
One standout product is IXF SIL, a hedge fund launched in 2023 after merging several SICAVs, with €50 million in assets.
Its aim is to generate attractive returns with low risk, through diversification across five asset classes: equity funds, fixed income funds, bonds, quality dividend-paying stocks, and alternative investments. Since its launch, it has achieved 6.3% annual return.
For Mercedes Grau, "being at Talenta is the pinnacle of my professional career. We are the leading independent wealth advisors for business families, entrepreneurs, and successful young tech professionals in Catalonia."
The leadership emphasizes that not belonging to a banking group gives them full freedom to select and switch assets without constraints.
With this approach, they negotiate the best terms with products and custodian banks, using global volume as a negotiating strength.
According to Cabanas, "Talenta is more than a company: it’s a daily commitment to our clients, whom we support with honesty, proximity, and tailored solutions."
He concludes by highlighting that "much of the path we’ve taken was possible thanks to the unique relationship between the partners."
