Merche Grau and Carmina Ganyet join Fluidra’s board of directors

The Colonial executive and the former Banca March executive will be proprietary directors of the company, while the CEO, Jaime Ramírez, will join as an executive board member.

Fluidra, the Catalan multinational in the swimming pool sector, will present three new appointments to its board of directors at its upcoming general shareholders' meeting, led by Eloi Planes as executive chairman.

The company will appoint Carmina Ganyet and Mercedes Grau as proprietary directors, while Fluidra’s current CEO, Jaime Ramírez, will join the highest governing body as an executive director.

Mercedes Grau was the general director of Banca March and led the private banking and asset management division of the former Catalunya Caixa. Since last year, she has been a partner and executive board member at the financial services firm Talenta Gestión, and in January, she was elected president of the ACG Spain association, based in Barcelona.

Fluidra’s new executive board member, Jaime Ramírez, joined the company last May as CEO after a long career as an executive at the multinational Stanley Black & Decker in the United States.

The company will also propose at the shareholders' meeting a dividend distribution of €0.60 per share, charged to the 2024 results, which will be paid in two installments of €0.30, in July and December. The company will allocate approximately €115 million to dividends.

Fluidra will hold its shareholders' meeting on May 7 in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona).
